
Nathan Dolloff, PhD
CTO - Chief Technology Officer
Nathan Dolloff is the Chief Technology Officer for the Zucker Institute for Innovation Commercialization and leads the Biopharma technology vertical. Nathan is a scientist by training and faculty member at MUSC, where he leads a cancer drug discovery program that has been funded by the NCI since 2013. He is experienced in academic entrepreneurship as an inventor and founder of Leukogene Therapeutics Inc., a growing South Carolina cancer therapeutics company. Dolloff has led entrepreneurship efforts at the Hollings Cancer Center and MUSC Office of Innovation since 2021. In his role as ZI CTO, he supports the technology commercialization continuum from intellectual property evaluation and prioritization to entrepreneurship mentoring and licensing partner outreach and engagement. Dolloff was born in Pennsylvania where he did his graduate and postdoctoral training in Philadelphia at Drexel College of Medicine and the University of Pennsylvania prior to moving to South Carolina in 2014.
